Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer
Candidate Locations: London
Permanent Full time- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Call outs are available if you are wishing to do this for overtime= 1.75 on overtime pay
Salary: £50 to £65k DOE
Must be able to drive – you will also get a work van and technical tools for the role
About the Company
Our client is a small but fast-growing business with a lot of private clients to maintain across London
They are looking for someone to help with Commercial Boilers plantrooms, installations, PPMs, repair service and maintenance.
Job responsibilities
Plant Maintenance: Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs on commercial boilers, water heaters, burners, pipework, and HVAC controls.
Fault Finding: Diagnose complex mechanical/electrical faults and complete first-time fixes where possible.
Compliance: Ensure all commercial gas work strictly adheres to industry standards, British Standards, and up-to-date Gas Safety regulations.
Reporting: Complete digital job sheets, risk assessments, and compliance paperwork on company-issued devices (tablets/smartphone
About You
- Good technical understanding of commercial gas engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Gas SAFE
- Commercial gas qualified
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexible and self-motivated approach to work.
- Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering high standards.
Qualifications
ACS Commercial Gas qualifications (CCN1, COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A/1, or equivalent)
Desirable:
Commercial Catering qualifications (COMCAT 1 – 5)
