Are you a skilled Commercial Gas Maintenance Engineer looking for a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic environment?

Our client is a well-established provider of M&E maintenance and project solutions for the commercial industry. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality service and building lasting relationships.

Role Overview:
As a Commercial Gas Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance of commercial gas systems within various commercial premises. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a diverse range of work without the pressures of an on-call rota. While the majority of your role will be during weekdays, there may be occasions when you are asked to assist with a weekend job if needed (this will not be essential)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on commercial gas appliances and systems.
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with current regulations.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults in heating systems and gas appliances.
  • Price up and issue quotes for any repairs which have been identified
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and any issues encountered.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing advice and recommendations as necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Hold relevant commercial gas qualifications (COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, etc.).
  • Domestic gas qualifications would also be an advantage as some premises have domestic boilers.
  • Proven experience in commercial gas maintenance and repair with good fault-finding skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
