Role: Maintenance Gas Engineer / Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary: £45,000 per annum + On-Call 1 in 4 - £1,950 per annum + Overtime after 37.5 hours (1.5X)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Multitask Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Gas Engineer / Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading building services contractor within their Facilities Management division.

This role involves delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, and installation works across a range of gas systems on multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out PPM, reactive maintenance and installation works
• Fault finding, diagnostics, repairs and servicing of gas systems
• Work on commercial and domestic gas boilers, heating systems, pipework, gas-fired water heaters, air handling units and radiant tube heaters
• Complete gas safety checks, testing and certification in line with Gas Safe regulations
• Respond to reactive callouts and participate in on-call rota
• Produce quotes for repair and installation works
• Update and maintain CAFM system records
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, gas regulations, and health & safety standards
• Travel between multiple sites as required

Requirements:

• ACS Gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1, COCN1 or equivalent)
• Proven experience in gas maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and installation
• Experience working on commercial and/or domestic systems
• Strong understanding of gas safety regulations and compliance
• Experience within Facilities Management or building services preferred
• Good IT skills (CAFM systems or similar)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Flexible approach and willingness to join on-call rota

Desirable:

• Commercial catering qualifications (COMCAT 1–5)
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating
• Experience with HVAC systems and controls

• £45,000per annum + 1 in 4 On-Call £1,950 per annum + Overtime available after 37.5 hours Monday to Friday (1.5X)
