Commercial Electrician

Role: Commercial Electrician 

Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire 

Salary: Up to £40,000pa plus company vehicle with fuel card, IPAD, Uniform PPE. 

Contract: Monday to Friday 40hrs - Permanent 

Multitask Personnel are on the look out for Commercial Electricians on a full time permanent basis to work with a leading Building Contractor Company in the South Yorkshire area.

Role & Responsibilities for the Commercial Electrician:

• Working on various commercial properties, site commercial, retail and rail.
• Carrying our remedial repairs, if necessary, along with undertaking maintenance, install and refurbishment works
• Electrical installation (refurbishment, new install and repairs) in-line with current regulations and legislations
• Diagnostic work to include fault-finding and repair/maintain electrical installation.
• Processing relevant documentation and making sure systems are completed in a timely fashion.
• Inspecting and testing within existing installations, recording results with the completion of appropriate test certificates in line with the NIC EIC
• Managing and adhering to the standards set out by the business to include, policies, codes of practice, safe systems to work and recognised industrial standards for work carried out.

Qualifications needed for the Commercial Electrician:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• City & Guilds 2361 Part 1 & 2
• AM2 Qualification
• Latest Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
• ECS Card
• Clean UK driving licence (must be over 25 for company insurance)
• 3+ years’ qualified experience
