Class 2 Driver - Waste

Our client offer a range of services to the Rotherham area, one of these services is household bin collections. We are working with them to recruit a number of Waste Management Class 2 Drivers

You will be required to:

• Drive the waste collection vehicle and collect waste that includes: domestic, recycling and green
• Carry out collections in accordance with schedules from the ‘in cab’ solution equipment and input round data accordingly.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and make sure it is in good working order.
• Supervise the work of the waste management operatives on the vehicle
• Assist with the cleaning, repair and delivery of refuse containers
• Report contamination and make sure that customers receive the appropriate information card/leaflet
• You must be able to lift/pull loaded receptacles outdoors in all weather conditions

Working hours are Monday to Friday 6.45am till finish (usually 3pm), the role is based at Hellaby. The start date is first week in August.

Pay rate is £12.59 per hour and is paid weekly.
