Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cavity Wall Supervisor to join a well-established and growing business operating across South Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. You will be responsible for overseeing the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of cavity wall insulation projects, ensuring installation teams consistently deliver work to the highest quality standards.

This role is ideal for a hands-on supervisor with strong technical knowledge, excellent leadership skills and experience working within the insulation or retrofit sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support cavity wall insulation installation teams across multiple sites.
• Carry out regular site inspections, quality assurance checks and technical audits.
• Ensure all installations are completed in accordance with PAS 2030, PAS 2035 (where applicable), Building Regulations and manufacturer specifications.
• Promote and enforce Health & Safety legislation and company procedures at all times.
• Deliver toolbox talks and site briefings to maintain high safety and quality standards.
• Plan workloads and coordinate installation programmes to meet project deadlines.
• Monitor productivity and provide coaching and support to installation teams.
• Liaise with Surveyors, Operations Managers, Clients and Contract Managers to ensure projects run efficiently.
• Resolve technical issues, customer concerns and installation queries in a timely manner.
• Complete site reports, inspections and compliance documentation accurately.
• Support the training, mentoring and development of installers.
• Ensure company vehicles, tools and equipment are maintained and used appropriately.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Cavity Wall Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the insulation or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of cavity wall insulation systems and installation methods.
• Good understanding of PAS 2030, quality assurance processes and industry best practice.
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
• Experience carrying out site inspections and quality audits.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities effectively.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Insulation and Building Treatments (or equivalent).
• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• CSCS Card.
• IOSH Managing Safely.
• First Aid at Work.
• Experience working on ECO4 or other retrofit programmes.
• Knowledge of PAS 2035 and retrofit compliance.

Working Hours
