Job Title: HV/LV Cable Jointer – Utilities & Power Networks

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland
Salary: Circa: £50k (DOE) + Benefits

Job Description:

We are recruiting for our partner, a leading company in the utilities sector specialising in electrical and civil engineering solutions.

Due to their ongoing growth and expansion, they seek an authorised Scottish Power Energy Networks Cable Jointer to join their team in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform jointing work on the SPEN (Scottish Power Energy Networks) electricity distribution network.
• Work across LV and HV systems, ensuring all tasks comply with safety and technical standards.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical faults on the network.
• Collaborate with the engineering and project teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Ensure all work adheres to industry regulations and the company’s quality standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• MUST HAVE Current SPEN authorisations.
• Proven experience in LV / HV jointing within the utility industry.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving license.
