As the demand for clean energy continues to rise, this company is rapidly expanding and seeking a driven Internal Sales Consultant to join their dynamic team in Bournemouth.

The Role

As an Internal Sales Consultant, you will be a key member of the branch sales team, responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. You will provide expert support to clients, ensuring their enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally. With your growing knowledge of the renewable energy sector and product range, you will offer tailored solutions and contribute directly to the company’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities through inbound and outbound communication
  • Qualify leads and route them to the relevant Business Development Managers
  • Process and manage sales orders and quotations
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to enquiries on products, deliveries and orders
  • Understand customer requirements and present appropriate product solutions
  • Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Assist in solar system design (full training provided)
  • Actively contribute to the achievement of team and individual sales targets

About You

You will be confident, proactive, and customer-focused, with a proven background in internal sales and a passion for delivering service excellence. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable picking up the phone, and enjoy working collaboratively within a team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an internal sales or similar customer-facing role, preferably within a wholesale environment
  • A strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident telephone manner and experience with cold calling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/order management systems
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • A proactive, solutions-led approach with a genuine interest in the renewable energy sector
