Our client offer a range of services to the Barnsley area, one of these services is Household bin collections. Due to the current situation and the role being a key worker role they are looking to recruit Waste Loaders with a driving licence to work on a temporary basis
You may be required to drive a follow up van with an extra member of staff to support the bin truck bin rounds collecting all types of recycling bins on a daily basis. You will also be required to collect the bins to assist the loader. You could also be on jut loading which involves working on the bins trucks collecting wheelie bins.
This role is physically demanding due to the nature of the work so please take this into consideration when applying. Please be aware you may be loading only and not driving but they are looking for both drivers and loaders.
Working hours are Tuesday to Friday 6am till finish (usually 3.45pm)
The work is initially temporary which will be assessed on a week by week basis, the duration is based on social distancing rules
Pay rate is £8.72 per hour and is paid weekly.
