Site Engineer

Monday to Friday

London / South East

£24K – £28k Temp to Perm

Multitask Personnel are delighted to be working with one of our clients who complete groundwater control and management services across the UK. We are working closely with them to recruit a Site Engineer on a temp to perm contract, who will be predominantly site visiting around London and the South East but based from their Head office in Kings Langley.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven Site Engineer to join an expanding team, who will be the key person between the design and install teams. 

Main Duties, list not exhaustive:

  • Activity supervision such as drilling, pump tests and dewatering system installation.
  • Liaise with our clients site staff, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • To assist the Project manager in the project management, progress reporting and team meeting participation.
  • Method statement preparation.
  • Site team and subcontractor briefings along with ensuring contractual obligations are met.
  • Assist in the preparation of tenders.
  • To be responsible for company health and safety and Risk Assessment preparation. Briefing, checking and auditing site staff to ensure safe working practices are being followed will also be part of the role.
  • Involvement with the companies Integrated management system to ensure targets and objectives are met.
  • Liaise with the company auditors to ensure any corrective actions are dealt with accordingly.

The above is not exhaustive and you will be expected to undertake any other ad-hoc duties which may reasonably fall within the level of responsibility and competence.


  • A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Must have an understanding of Hydrogeology, Engineering Geology or Civil Engineering.
  • Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised in sometimes difficult site conditions.
  • Good planning and organizing skills both individually and for the team.
  • Experience with managing people.
  • Commercial awareness, ideally including knowledge of construction industry contracts.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and AutoCAD.
  • Must have excellent verbal skills and be competent in written communication skills
  • Ability to use initiative and work unsupervised
  • Full UK Driving License
