Senior Data Analyst

Our client are a gas and electricity provider covering both domestic and commercial properties. Since their inception in 2014 they have grown to over 100 employees, we are working with them to recruit a Senior Data Analyst/Data Quality Controller at their site in Preston.

The Role:

The purpose of the role is to improve and maintain the quality of data held within their CRM and metering systems to ensure they can provide a smooth end to end journey for their customers. You will oversee a team of 4 data entry assistants.

Duties:

• Analysing meter read performance
• Process improvements
• Managing call, text & email campaigns
• Data cleansing
• Contract processing
• Identify, support and resolve incorrect data
• Line management
• Data profiling and analysis of the results to identify data quality issues
• Daily, weekly & monthly reporting
• Project assistance
• Dialler management

The ideal Candidate:

• 2-4+ years of experience working with data in any Analyst based role.
• Ability to analyse data using a SQL database or excel spreadsheet
• Educated to A Level standard
• Advanced Excel skills to include Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS & formulas
• Experience of producing and interpreting data reports
• Ability to work under pressure
• Energy/utility experienced is beneficial but not required

Salary is £19.5-23k DOE, working hours are 9am-5pm Mon-Fri.
