Our client are a gas and electricity provider covering both domestic and commercial properties. Since their inception in 2014 they have grown to over 100 employees, we are working with them to recruit a Regulation and Compliance Analyst at their site in Preston.

The Role:

The purpose of the role is to provide support with the maintenance and monitoring of our clients position from a regulatory perspective. You will have excellent organisational skills and will be responsible for analysing internal reporting data and responding to external requests for information.

Duties:

  • Report to the Regulation and Compliance Manager
  • To maintain a tracker of internal support requests and all inbound communications
  • Assisting and delivering RFI’s, audit requests and consultations
  • Collate internal data, format and send to external bodies such as BEIS and Ofgem
  • Monitor compliance and complaints mailbox
  • Assist with audits of relevant processes
  • Responding to data subject access requests
  • Keep the Compliance area of SharePoint up to date
  • Assist with drafting of regulatory policies for the business

You must possess good analytical and problem solving skills. You will be required to perform a gap analysis on processes and procedures in line with the regulatory framework, training and support will be provided.

 

The ideal Candidate:

  • Will have degree level education
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Understanding of Industry and energy processes
  • Basic understanding of regulatory framework and interest in developing legislative knowledge
  • Keen reader with good research skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, able to validate accuracy of data
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office ( Excel , Word, Outlook etc)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to agreed deadlines

Salary is between £19,000 -23000 DOE, working hours are 9am-5pm Mon-Fri.
