New Claims Team

Multitask are recruiting for a PI New Claims Team member in Sheffield for a well-established growing business. Are you looking for a new career do you have an interest in the legal sector?

• Identifying then chasing information from Claimants to complete initial claim details by phone, e-mail and in writing
• Communicating with Claimants, third parties to establish basis for claim
• Assessing prospects of claims and communicating with team seniors
• Completing administrative tasks for other team members
• Drafting correspondence, under supervision if required
• MID database searches
• Use of medco system to identify medical agencies
• Use of Askquepi database to search accident history
• ELTO searches
• Use of companies’ house to identify correct Defendant
• Assessing Limitation and identifying risk to seniors

Required

• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact confidently with both staff and members of the public
• English GCSE (grade 9-1, A-C or Key Skills Level 2 or equivalent)
• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Proven ability to plan, manage and prioritise workloads
• Flexible approach to working depending on the needs and priorities of the department
• Capability to undertake all assignments in a timely manner
• Knowledge of gathering evidence for RTA EL/PL/OL claims to inception level
• Experience of submitting claim notification forms via the MOJ portal

Desirable

• Previous administrative experience including excellent client care skills across different platforms, including telephone, email and written correspondence
• Knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection
• Case Management System Knowledge
