Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

 

Multitask Personnel is proud to be working with a leading utilities provider specialising in the supply, installation, and maintenance of gas, electric, and SMART meters. We are looking for a dedicated Metering Coordinator to join their Cardiff office and play a key role in ensuring the efficient scheduling and execution of meter installations.


About the Role
As a Metering Coordinator, you will be at the heart of the metering portfolio, helping to secure the recurring rental revenue required to meet business targets. You will be responsible for coordinating meter bookings by handling both inbound and outbound customer appointment calls. This role involves close collaboration with field engineers to ensure a well-organised and efficient approach to daily planning.

•    Engineering field force
•    Industrial & Commercial (I&C) customer service team
•    Field operations management team
•    Capacity planners
•    Other key stakeholders as required by your line manager

Key Responsibilities
•    Handle inbound and outbound appointment calls, scheduling meter exchanges per supplier guidelines.
•    Assign work to Field Engineers, optimising their daily schedules for maximum efficiency.
•    Arrange property access to ensure engineers can complete their scheduled jobs.
•    Verify and process job completions within the required timeframe.
•    Identify and escalate any operational issues to the Metering Delivery Manager.
•    Maintain the work management database and other relevant systems.
•    Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
•    Maximise customer appointment bookings.
•    Plan and group jobs in the most efficient way possible for Field Engineers.
•    Provide real-time support to engineers and subcontractors, including directions and schedule adjustments.
•    Support market share growth for gas assets.
•    Oversee the warrant project by responding to specific client bookings.
•    Complete any additional tasks as directed by your line manager to meet business objectives.
