Role: Litigator

Location: Sheffield

Salary: up to £45000

Multitask Personnel are recruiting for a Litigator for a well-established Law Firm in Sheffield , The Senior Litigator is responsive for effective file handling and client care in pursuing a claim for compensation on the Client’s behalf.     

Duties include

• Run your own caseload to ensure that all claims are up to date and progressed in the correct time frame from instruction to conclusion.
• Taking potential customers through a full claim assessment and fact find over the phone and assessing if they have had a financial loss and if a claim can be made.
• Establish at the earliest opportunity an entity who a claim can be brought against
• Request all relevant information from the relevant parties as soon as identified
• Researching information and preparing legal documentation.
• Attending Court to present the case.
• Provide excellent customer service by regularly updating clients on the progress of their case, costs and answering any queries in a professional manner
• Be proactive in your approach to the role by constantly researching the area of law you practice and keeping up to date with all relevant case law/industry updates
• Support the training and development of staff within your team and provider wider support to general standalone Litigators.

Requirements: 

• Candidates will need to demonstrate excellent written and interpersonal skills in order to meet the drafting and presentation aspects of the role, as well as a keen eye for detail.
• Organisational and prioritising skills 
• Good teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels are essential.

Company Offers

• 37.5 hours plus 1 hour lunch
• Monday - Friday
• Salary: up to 45k depending on experience
