HSEQ Advisor

Role: Junior HSEQ Advisor/ HSEQ Advisor

Location: Redditch, West Midlands

Salary: Up to £25,000 pa

Multitask Personnel are working alongside an Environmental management company who offer an arboriculture, landscaping maintenance and tree consultancy services across the UK. They offer an array of expert services including tree surgery, arboriculture consultancy, landscaping, rope access, vegetation clearance and ecological mitigation and ecology and the control of invasive and noxious weeds.

We are working alongside them to recruit a Junior HSEQ Advisor/ HSEQ Advisor to work from their Head Office based in Redditch.

Key Responsibilities

• Carryout site inspections, record findings and raise actions using our in-house system (MAP)
• Identify good practice and ensure it is communicated and adopted throughout all sites
• Provide advice, support and guidance on health, safety, environment and quality issues
• Liaise with supervisors and managers to ensure continual improvement
• Promote and assist in the development of the Integrated Management System (IMS)
• Conduct and report on audits throughout the sites
• Promote a positive safety culture
• Assist the HSEQ Manager and Operations Manager’s in the development and review of site safety documents, including risk assessments, safe systems of work and procedures
• Deliver toolbox talks
• Assist with the Investigations on accidents and near misses, and report on findings to include recommendations for improvements
• Assist with the development of systems and procedures to ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018, NHSS18 and all other certifications and accreditations held by the company.

Skills

• SSSTS or SMST*
• ISOH Managing Safely*
• NEBOSH National General Certificate*
• Good computer skills (word, excel, power point, etc.)
• Full UK driving license
• Knowledge of LOLER, PUWER, NRSWA (Chapter 8), Work at Height, NPTC and Lantra certifications
• A willingness to learn
