Salary: £28,000

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundworks Labourer to support projects across the UK.

Based near Hull, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands on groundworks experience and basic plant operation skills who is looking to grow their career in the industry.

The successful candidate will assist with site preparation, excavation, and reinstatement works while working alongside qualified operatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with a range of groundworks, including trench digging, ducting, concreting, and reinstatement
• Support machine operators with safe site operations
• Operate a small plant and tools under supervision
• Help maintain a clean, safe and organised site environment
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
• Travel to various sites across the UK, including overnight stays
• Load and unload materials and equipment as required

Required Experience & Attributes:

• Prior experience in groundworks labouring
• Basic knowledge of plant and machinery (dumpers, diggers, etc.)
• Physically fit with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight when needed
• CSCS Card
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable (Not Essential):

• Basic plant or tool operation tickets
• Desire to work towards CPCS and NRSWA qualifications

Benefits Package:

• Salary: Circa £28k
• Travel expenses and overnight accommodation are covered
• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (overtime may be available)
