Estimating Quantity Surveyor

Our client is looking for a Estimating QS to work on Commercial construction projects within 30 miles of Sheffield. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Compilation of estimates & quotation requests’
• Assessment and sourcing of plant hire, equipment, materials, labour and sub-contractor costs.
• Review and approve sub-contractor quotations.
• Communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Assist in subcontractor procurement.
• Assisting measuring work in progress using schedule of rates (SORs).
• Attend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and or clients/customers when necessary.
• Build effective working relationships with clients and Contractors
• Contribute to departmental meetings and toolbox talks.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience In estimating and Quantity Surveying Commercial refurbishment and new builds projects

In return the company offer a package around £40-50k dependant on experience, and a friendly team focused working environment.
