Our client, a leading company within the Social housing sector are looking to recruit a Customer Liaison Officer to join their Northwest team. 

 

You will be responsible for liaising with tenants, residents, leaseholders along with Contracts Managers, Site Managers and Site Supervisors to ensure first class delivery of a contract for a roofing and low rise scheme based in Salford.

 

You Will

  • Talk to clients and customers to arrange and carry out the work and put their needs first
  • Leave homes clean and safe and get tenant signatures when you’ve finished the job
  • Work closely with colleagues in your team and build relationships with the wider team
  • Undertake customer satisfaction surveys
  • Arrange, attend and administer tenant, resident, leaseholder and public meetings, site meetings and other appropriate liaison panels and groups.
  • Inform / update customers on the progress of all works throughout the programme
  • To identify customer vulnerability, and any special needs that must be addressed prior, and throughout the works.
  • Carry out Social Surveys, Pre-entry surveys and customer priority surveys
  • To update, monitor and maintain the organisations IT systems including Mi-Project.
  • Where suitably qualified, (SSSTS) assist the Site Manager/Site Supervisor in ensuring that all work on site is undertaken in accordance with HSE legislation and company Policies and Procedures
  • You’ll play an important part in meeting – and exceeding customer expectations
  • Providing straight forward solutions to make places safe, smart and better for all
  • To undertake such additional duties as are reasonable commensurate with the level of this post
  • Take a full and active role in the implementation of their own personal development and to participate in the training and development of colleagues.
  • Attend meetings with partners and other stakeholders

 

 

You Will Need

  • Good Level of Education (e.g. to GCSE standard in maths and English) AF/QC
  • Experience within a social housing environment (Desirable)
  • Ability to negotiate effectively (Desirable) 
  • Experience of the use of Microsoft office software and Mi-Project
  • Experience of dealing with tenants and home owners on maintenance and regeneration work.
  • Experience of gathering and collating information
  • The ability to work as a member of a team
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and manage and prioritise own workload
  • Willingness to undertake training
  • Prepared to work outside normal office hours and evenings and weekends as required
  • Evidence accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to high quality customer service
  • Adapt positively to change
  • Hold a current, valid driving licence and have a car available for work at all times

 

In Return

  • The role is on a temp to perm basis with an immediate start
  • Possibility of permanent role further down the line
  • Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm (but must be flexible)
  • £13 per hour (paid weekly whilst working via the agency)
